The government has made some new announcements recently.  As we have mentioned in the newsletter, we only hear the news at the same time as you, we will give you all the details about how we are going to respond once we gather further information from the Department for Education.  Our newsletter will give you all the up to date information on how we are preparing for gradual re-opening whilst using all the advice given by the government, Lewisham and the Diocese.  We do not have all the answers to your questions at this time, as more detail is emerging every day, so please bear with us.  Safety of our school community is paramount in all our decisions.  Please follow the governments advice - stay alert, control the virus, save lives. Stay safe and strong.

Welcome to Trinity Home Learning.  The schools support programme to ensure pupils across the school are continuing to progress whilst we are closed in the current climate.  The work being set is to secure pupils progress and help them for when they return back to school.

The government has published some information to help parents understand how to ensure their children are safe at home using their technology.  Whilst a lot of work has now moved to being online we need to be careful that our children are fully safeguarded.  Please do take time to read this through.  Thank you - stay safe.

The Overview link on the right gives you general overview of our home learning programme along with some website links you can use for home learning.  Most pupils will be learning from home, but for a small group we are running a key worker and vulnerable pupil provision (please click on the link to the right for more details).

For the Primary Phase you will find a weekly newsletter of activities to do with your children  uploaded to the Primary Learning link on the right.  Each week we will provide work that will support pupils to progress in Reading, Writing, Mathematics as well as the Wider Curriculum.

Work for the Secondary Phase will be via the WeDuc school app.  It is vital pupils can access this app as it will be the method by which each pupil can message each of their teachers and these teachers will issue key tasks to all the pupils within their class.  For year 7, 8 and 9 pupils will get one set of work for each subject to be completed each week.  For year 10 and 11 pupils will be sent two sets of home learning to ensure they are working towards their terminal assessments.  With the GCSE exams not happening this year the work pupils in year 11 can evidence will be key to demonstrate their ability and be used to predict grades.

Our teachers, as long as they are well, will be able to respond to any questions via the WeDuc app message system or via emails.  Primary parents have access to some generic email accounts which are being monitored constantly each day (see primary tab for addresses).  If you have any problems with this then please do call the school.  Remember it is important that learning continues at home, but your son / daughters wellbeing must also be taken into account.  See some ideas on how to keep everyone happy in our overview section.

Please remember, as a family we need to support each other.  In this challenging time please do reach out to each other and give as much moral support and guidance over the coming weeks.  If there is anything we can do to help please do contact us directly.  Take care.
